Computek College's 50-week Community Services Worker diploma combines classroom learning with hands-on training to prepare you for meaningful roles in the social services field. Choose the practicum option to add supervised field experience before you graduate.
You will learn to conduct client assessments, provide referrals, offer counselling and connect people to vital resources. Courses in crisis intervention, mental health, addiction and supporting at-risk populations prepare you to assist individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, and self-care strategies help you keep your balance in a demanding career.
